CORDETTE HUBBARD, MHRM: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As a founding team member and the school’s longest-serving employee, Mrs. Hubbard has been a driving force in its growth and stability since its earliest days, building operational infrastructure, cultivating a mission-driven culture, and guiding long-term priorities to keep the school aligned with its vision and values. She has also championed academic excellence, leading the development of high-quality instructional programs and strategic initiatives to ensure every scholar receives a rigorous, supportive, and joyful education. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Tennessee State University, where she embraced and continues to live out the university’s motto - “Think. Work. Serve.” She also earned an M.A. in Human Resource Management from Webster University.
PATRICE GLOVER, M.ED: CO-PRINCIPAL, K-2
Mrs. Glover is a seasoned instructional leader with over 23 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and curriculum design. She has dedicated her career to strengthening early literacy, building teacher capacity, and ensuring rigorous, engaging instruction for all learners. She leads the K–2 team with deep expertise and a strong belief in the power of early education to change the trajectory of a child’s life.
JACINTA TURNER, M.ED: CO-PRINCIPAL, 3-5
Ms. Turner is a results-driven leader with over 13 years of experience advancing equity and achievement in both general and special education settings. She has led data-informed instruction, coached teachers to drive academic gains, and built systems that elevate team performance and scholar outcomes. At Beacon, she leads the 3–5 team with bold vision, high expectations, and a deep commitment to transformational impact.
TIA ELLIS, Ed.S., M.A.T.: DEAN OF SCHOLAR SUPPORTS
Tia Ellis’s career has been centered on supporting scholars in special education, speech therapy, and multilingual learning. She has focused on building inclusive systems and fostering strong family partnerships to meet the diverse needs of learners. As Beacon’s Dean of Scholar Supports, Ms. Ellis brings a deep commitment to equity and a belief that every scholar deserves the tools and opportunities to thrive.
Mildred Vazquez: DEAN OF Operations
Mildred Vazquez is a dedicated operations leader whose career has been centered on creating systems that allow schools to run smoothly and scholars to thrive. With expertise in logistics, compliance, and family partnership, she ensures that Beacon’s day-to-day operations support the school’s mission and long-term goals. As Dean of Operations, Ms. Vazquez brings a solutions-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a deep belief in the power of education to transform communities.
