Beacon is a small, community focused school that founded during the Summer of 2020, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The challenges associated with opening during the pandemic are real. However, we are not deterred in providing all scholars the high quality academics and authentically joyful community they deserve.

At Beacon we commit to be a school where:

Students have access to grade-appropriate assignments, deep engagement and a sense of belonging, and teachers with high expectations for their success, every day, in every class - regardless of their race, ethnicity, or past performance. 

Every student, family, teacher and staff member has an authentic opportunity to shape the experiences students have in school, receive accurate and accessible information about scholar progress and have a legitimate role in decision making.
